I’ve been fortunate to travel with Jengana three times, each experience has been humbling, exciting and life changing in every sense.
We have no doubt that the work of Jengana is life changing. We have seen it first-hand.
It was a very worthwhile experience and a privilege to have been involved with Jengana Teams and to see and hear how so many lives have been changed and given hope for the future.
It was an opportunity to show that we care.
It was amazing to be able to experience for myself the work God is doing through Jengana.
We could see money being well spent, churches working together and people learning about God.
The significant impact being made on the lives of many individuals in Kenya due to the work of Jengana was evident.
Our first-hand experience was life-changing for our family.
I will always remember the gratefulness of the families we visited in the slums with food parcels. That food came when they had so little to eat. How humbling when they prayed for us and praised God for the food!
The people that I met on this trip have totally changed my perspective on life and poverty and their joy and trust in God throughout hardship was truly inspirational.
